There are lots of simple rules that can be applied when writing code as well as when reading code produced by other developers. Additionally there are examples to illustrate those rules. I think that this book should be part of every software developer's book shelf right beside books like "The Pragmatic Programmer", "Refactoring" or the GoF-book.
